Thank you for your comments. The beautiful coast line is always something we can count on not to change. Our forests are called "working forests" now and clear cutting is common all along the road from Portland to Seaside. It breaks my heart to see all the old growth timber gone. Even the Tillamook burn that scarred the mountains over 100 years ago cannnot be seen because it all looks like it all has been burned now.

But the beach is beautiful and clean. We are very lucky that all people can enjoy it and not just the rich and famous.

my fondest memories of a family holiday with our young children, both toddlers, was along the Oregon coast... thanks for sharing these beautiful pictures. Perhaps we'll do it again sometime with the grandkids! The beautiful beach access is unparalleled!
